**After 27 years, Dr. Ashley MacInnes will be saying goodbye to the North Shore. She is confidently leaving her practice in the very capable hands of Dr Oakley Brown. Dr Ashley will phase out her clinic hours over the next 2 months, leaving by mid February 2026 ** Clinic Located inside TRAIN WEST VAN at 1431 Clyde Ave West Vancouver.

Dr. Oakley Brown graduated chiropractic school from University of Western States in Portland, Oregon in 2023. During his time there he also completed his Master of Science in Sports Medicine degree, which included practical training where he treated a variety of athletes from different sports in competition settings.

After graduating, Dr. Oakley practiced in the United States at clinic locations in the Seattle area prior to returning home to Canada in 2025. Upon return he was eager to obtain his own practice, which is how he acquired ownership of Health Sciences Lab (formerly operated by Dr. Ashley MacInnes). The similarity in their treatment approaches, passion for sport, and dedication to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for their patients is what instilled trust for both of them to work together to have Health Sciences Lab continue to serve the North Shore community and surrounding areas with excellence.

Dr. Oakley has a particular passion for treating running injuries, as a former track and field athlete, though he loves helping everyone work towards achieving their goals. He continues to stay active by engaging in a variety of activities such as weight training, skiing, and backpacking. You can probably catch him in a Hyrox class at Train West Van - stay tuned!

Dr. Oakley believes health is at the centre of performance for everyday life. He aims to enable people to feel their best whether it be for sport, work, or personally. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, looking to improve your health, or optimize your performance, Dr. Oakley is here to help
